Enter the measured sun hours on the bed (observe 2–3 clear days), your space, your intent, and pick 3–8 crops. You get a calm Good / Marginal / Poor fit for each crop versus typical sun need — greens often work at ~3–5h; fruiting crops usually want ~6–8h+.

Honest framing: phone apps and one cloudy afternoon mislead. Balcony rails often under-measure. Partial shade is fine for lettuce; tomatoes sulk. Numbers are soft home-garden ranges, not a PAR meter report.
